Oak Street, LLC (OS), a subsidiary of JDA Group LLC, is planning to undertake the construction of a residential complex in New Jersey, the US.

The project involves the construction of 208 residential units comprising 30 affordable units on 3ha of land. It includes the construction of 82 one-bedroom units, 105 two-bedroom units, six three-bedroom units, 15 studio apartments, a community center and 398 parking facilities.

The Sterling Group (SG) and Burgis Associates, Inc. have been appointed as the planners, Maser Consulting PA as the technical consultant, Desman Associates as the parking consultant and Thomas Brennan Architects as an architect.

In February 2015, SG, on behalf of OS, submitted a preliminary site plan application.

In June 2015, the Borough Planning Board postponed the hearing of preliminary site plan to August 2015.

In December 2015, SG secured final site plan approval from the Borough Planning Board. SG also needs to secure approval from the state Department of Environmental Protection.

On January 18, 2016, Borough of East Rutherford approved the project.

SG is planning to purchase the site from OS.

Scope

The project involves the construction of 208 residential units comprising 30 affordable units on 3ha of land in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the US.

The US$100 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of 82 one-bedroom units

2. Construction of 105 two-bedroom units

3. Construction of six three-bedroom units

4. Construction of 15 studio apartments

5. Construction of a community center

6. Construction of 398 parking facilities
