Oxford Properties Group (OPG) is planning to undertake the Oxford Place Urban Development project in Ontario, Canada.

The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities across 4.45ha of land comprising a 102,193m2 convention center, 232,258m2 of an office facility, 92,903m2 of retail facility and 55,741.8m2 of a residential facility.

The project includes the construction of 41,806.4m2 of casino and amenity space, 157,935m2 of hotel, 4,000 parking stalls and 22,257.7m2 of public parkland.

Foster + Partners was appointed as the master planner in the fourth quarter of 2012.

In October 2013, the project was placed on hold as City of Toronto voted against the casino on the premises.

Urban Strategies Inc has been appointed as master planner and B+H Architects as an architect.

Construction activities are expected to commence in 2019 and scheduled to be completed in 2024.

Scope

The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities on 4.45ha of land at south of Front Street, Simcoe and Blue Jays Way in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The US$3,060 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a 102,193m2 convention centre

2. Construction of 232,258m2 of office space

3. Construction of 92,903m2 of retail space

6. Construction of 55,741.8m2 of residential space

7. Construction of 41,806.4m2 of casino and amenity space
