Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OGE) is planning to upgrade the Mustang Power Plant in Oklahoma, the US.

In June 2015, preliminary plans for the project were rejected by OCC and in December 2015, OCC rejected application for preapproval of environmental compliance and replacement generation costs.
On December 11, 2015, a routine construction permit was issued by Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) allowing the installation of seven new simple cycle turbines at Mustang Power Plant
The application by OGE is currently under technical review at the DEQ.
