Northwood Group (Northwood) is undertaking the construction of Ballantyne Corporate Park expansion project in Charlotte, North Carolina, the US.

The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities. It includes the construction of three 10-story buildings and one six-story building, a road network, a potable water system, 39,669m2 of office space, a 150-room hotel, 600 residential units, and the installation of elevators, safety, security systems.

The first 10-story building named as Brigham building, include the construction of a two-story lobby and parking facilities.

In July 2011, BC submitted the expansion plans to rezone the corporate park with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Department and secured the zoning approvals in September 2011.

BC has plans for the next phase of speculative development on the east side of Ballantyne Corporate Park.

LS3P Associates has been appointed as architect and Rodgers Builders as general contractor.

In August 2015, construction works commenced on Brigham building.

In December 2015, Medalist Capital has arranged a US$345.6 million loan through MetLife Inc.

In the fourth quarter of 2016, construction works on three buildings, including Brigham, were completed.

In March 2017, Northwood bought the Ballantyne Corporate Park for US$1.2 billion from The Bissell Companies Inc. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) has arranged US$350 million loan for the acquisition.

Northwood is in the process of finalizing the new plans by the end of 2017.
