Network Rail is planning to undertake the Queen Street Station Redevelopment project in the UK.

In April 2017, Balfour Beatty has been appointed as an enabling and demolition contractor for the project. Enabling works are slated for completion by the second quarter of 2018 and the cost of this contract is US$18.7 million.
In May 2017, Arup has been appointed as a lead consultant.
On August 6, 2017, demolition activities were commenced officially on the project. simultaneously Network Rail is in the process of appointing a contractor.
Enabling and demolition activities are underway, Construction activities are slated for completion by 2019.
