Navasota Energy Services LLC (Navasota) and Quantum Utility Generation, LLC (Quantum) are planning to build a gas-fired power plant in Texas, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 543MW simple cycle gas-fired electric generating plant on 21ha of land. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of three 181MW gas-fired turbines, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
General Electric has been awarded a contract to supply GE 7FA turbines.
