New Zealand Superannuation Fund (NZSF), Ngai Tahu Property Ltd (NTPL) and New Ground Capital (NGC) are planning to build a residential community in Auckland, New Zealand.
The project involves the construction of a residential community comprising 417 homes on 4ha of land. It includes the construction of retail units, and parking and related facilities. The project is delivered in four stages.
NTPL acts as development manager, overseeing the construction of the houses. NGC runs the rental component of the investment.
NZSF, NTPL and NGC are in the process of acquiring the former NZ Defence Force land from the Hobsonville Land Company, a subsidiary of Housing New Zealand.
In May 2017, NTPL entered into a development agreement with HLC Ltd (formerly the Hobsonville Land Co Ltd) and doubled the size of the development to 417 homes.
Isthmus Group has been appointed as the master planner.
