NV Energy, Inc. (NVE) a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Corporation and Apple Inc. (AAPL) are planning to build a solar power plant in Reno, Nevada, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 200MW solar power plant. It includes the construction of a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of solar panels, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
On January 25, 2017, NVE and AAPL signed a joint venture agreement to develop the project.
