East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is planning construction of a bridge in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
The project involves the construction of an 800m floating bridge and 18 to 23 megawatts (MW) tidal energy power plant. It includes the construction of bridge pillars, a supporting wall and related infrastructure, and the installation of tidal wave turbines and signaling and safety systems.
The project is divided into two phases.
The first phase includes 18 to 23MW tidal energy power plant and the second phase includes 90 to 115MW.
Tidal Bridge BV a jointed venture of Strukton International and Dutch Expansion Capital has been appointed as contractor.
Buana Archicon, PT has been appointed as engineer consultant.
In April 2016, NTT signed a US$400 million memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tidal Bridge BV.
On July 24, 2017, Pre-feasibility study presentation was held.
Pre-feasibility study has been completed.
Project is waiting for all the decisions from the government.
