NS Holdings Company (NSHC) is planning to undertake the construction of a mixed-use project in Bahrain.
The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities on 200ha of land. It will include the construction of residential units, commercial facilities, retail space, a business center, cafe and restaurants, leisure and hospitality facilities and parking facilities, and the installation of safety systems.
Davenport Campbell has been appointed as master planner, Manara Developments as associated developer and M/S HAJ as project management consultant (PMC) for the project.
In May 2009, the project was granted environmental approval by the authorities and Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company was awarded the land reclamation contract.
In June 2009, the draft master plan for the project was completed.
In August 2009, land reclamation commenced.
