Northwood Ravin, LLC (NR) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in Charlotte, North Carolina, the US.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex with two buildings comprising 421 apartments on 1.52ha of land.
The 20-story tower includes the construction of 143 residential units, shops and restaurants on the first floor, a gym on the third floor, a fourth-floor dog park and a rooftop bar on the 20th floor.
The four-story building includes the construction of 278 residential apartments, three stories of podium parking, wrapping an elevated pool and lounge deck.
It also includes the construction of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, 594.5 retail space on ground floor, 1022 m2 of office space on the second floor, 181m2 rooftop outdoor deck, 171m2 of rooftop private bar and kitchen, indoor pool, men’s and women’s sauna and steam rooms, private fitness studios, 558 parking spaces with private garages, and 24-hour concierge service, and installation of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, coffered ceilings, security systems, and elevators.
The in-house division of NR is undertaking the construction for the project, and BB+M Architecture has been appointed as an architect.
In February 2016, NR acquired the project site from the City of Charlotte for US$14.2 million.
In June 2016, NR filed an initial application for the proposed plans.
On January 11, 2017, construction works commenced on the project.
Construction is underway, and the initial apartments are scheduled to be ready for tenants by the second quarter of 2018.
