GliddenSpina + Partners and REG Architects have been appointed as architects for the project.
On January 4, 2016, NLP received preliminary approval from city council to purchase the project site for US$11.5 million.
On January 19, 2016, NLP received final approval to purchase the site.
In November 2016, City Council approved the conceptual plan for the hotel.
As of August 2017, NLP is in the process of finalizing the project plans.
