The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to build a Greenfield expressway from Delhi to Jaipur in India.
The project involves the construction of a 195km expressway from south of Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi to Daulatpura on 1755.9ha of land. It includes the construction of service roads, road separators, pedestrian ways, bridges, intersections, access roads and related infrastructure, and the installation of signaling and safety systems.
AECOM India Private Ltd has been appointed as study consultant and Ashliya Consultants Pvt Ltd as surveyor for the project.
In October 2016, principle approval was granted for the project.
In November 2016, topographical survey for the project was completed.
Land acquisition activities are underway.
