The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is undertaking the construction of a roadway from Chandikhole to Bhadrak road section in Odisha, India.
The project involves the upgrade of a 73.5km six-lane road from 62.0 to 135.5km.
The project includes the construction of pavements, major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges and draining facility and the installation of signal lights and related facilities.
The project will be developed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) on the design, build, operate and transfer (“DBOT Annuity or Hybrid Annuity”) basis.
On September 6, 2017, NHAI issued a request for proposal (RFP) for the DBOT contractor with submission deadline as October 23, 2017.
In January 2018, Dilip Buildcon appointed as construction contractor for the project.
