National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) in association with Northern Railway (NR) is planning to undertake the RRTS Delhi to Panipat Rail Corridor project in India.

The project involves the construction of 111km rail corridor that runs from Delhi to Panipat through Sonipat. The project includes the construction of 10 railway stations, signaling units, interchange sections, passage ways, and the laying of rail tracks and related infrastructural facilities.

National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) and Consulting Engineers Group Ltd are appointed as study consultants.

NCRPB has given approval for the project in July 2013, and Delhi government approved the alignments in June 2014.

Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared for final approval.

Construction works are expected to be started by second quarter of 2018.
