In February 2016, civic center rejected the plans as the planning officials concluded the project’s permit application was incomplete.

In October 2016, the Strawberry Design Review Board rejected the project plans.

In February 2017, the Branson School has abandoned its plans attempt to build a new campus on the former Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary site.

In June 2017, NCLH submitted revised plans to build a hybrid high school academy as part of the project.
