MultiCare Health System (MultiCare) and CHI Franciscan Health (CHI) are planning to build a psychiatric hospital in Tacoma, Washington, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 120-bed psychiatric hospital. It includes the construction of operating theaters, intensive care units, waiting halls, emergency units, an administrative facility, parking and other related facilities, and the installation of medical equipment.

In May 2016, Alliance for South Sound Health (ASSH) requested the Tacoma City Council to consider granting US$1.5 million towards the project.
Demolition works are underway. Construction is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017 and be completed in 2018.
