Ministry of Transport, Ivory Coast is planning to develop a 22km highway between the cities of Yopougon and Anyama, Cote d'Ivoire.

The project is being developed in two sections. The first section includes the construction of a 17km road from the North Highway section to Anyama Grand Carrefour. The second section includes the construction of a 5km road from the Anyama Grand Carrefour to Thomasset Toll.

The project also includes the construction of 3-4m wide sidewalks separated by edges, three parking lanes of 3m wide, three 7m wide roadways each with three lanes of 3.5m and 2.5m wide dividing strip separated by edges.

The project is being jointly funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Scope

The project involves the construction a 22km Highway between the cities of Yopougon and Anyama, Cote d'Ivoire.

The US$250 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a highway

2. Construction of 3-4m wide sidewalks separated by edges

3. Construction of three parking lanes of 3m wide

4. Construction of three 7m wide roadways each with three lanes of 3.5m and 2.5m

5. Construction of three lanes of 3.5m

6. Construction of 2.5m wide dividing strip separated by edges
