The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) along with National Highways Authority of India(NHAI) is planning to upgrade the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway in Telangana, India.
The project involves the construction of an eight-lane 270km highway. It includes the construction of interchanges, bridges, road intersections, service roads, culverts and related infrastructure, and the installation of signaling and safety systems.
In January 2016, the MoRTH unveiled the project plans.
