The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is undertaking to upgrade a roadway from Beawar to Gomti section in Rajasthan, India.

The project involves the upgrade of an 119km road from Beawar to Gomti section (58.245km to 177.050km). It includes the construction of pavements, bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains and related infrastructure, and the installation of signaling and safety systems.

The project will be developed under NHDP program on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.

On March 22, 2017, the MoRTH issued a US$138 million tender for a consultant to act as an independent engineer (IE), with a submission deadline of May 11, 2017.

IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited has been appointed DBFOT contractor.

Construction work is underway and scheduled to be completed on October 27, 2019.

Scope

The project involves the upgrade of an 119km road from Beawar to Gomti section (58.245kmn to 177.050km) in Rajasthan, India.
