Ministry of Education (MoE), Saudi Arabia through the administrative department of Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University is undertaking the expansion of Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University project in Saudi Arabia.
The project is planned to be implemented in six phases. Construction works on first five phases were completed. Phase VI of the expansion project involves the construction of six educational buildings with capacity for 6,000 girl students on a 600,000m2 area, having classrooms with a capacity to accommodate 20, 40, 75 and 125 students and educational laboratories.
It includes the construction of a central building with a parlor for girls and supportive educational and service buildings, parking lots for buses and cars as well walking pavements for students.
The project is being financed by the Government of Saudi Arabia. TYPSA Group was appointed as the architect for the project.
In October 2010, Al Fouzan Trading and General Contracting Co. was appointed as the construction contractor for the project.
The project involves the construction of six educational buildings with capacity for 6,000 girl students on a 600,000m2 area in Saudi Arabia.
