Mitsubishi Corporation (Mitsubishi) and Kyushu Electric Power Company, Inc. (Kepco) are planning to build a geothermal power plant in Minamiaso, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
The project involves the construction of a 15MW geothermal power plant. It includes the construction of a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
On December 10, 2013, Mitsubishi and Kepco signed a collaboration agreement to develop the project.
