The Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Metropolia) is undertaking the construction of a campus complex in Myllypuro, Helsinki, Finland.
The project involves the construction of 56,000m2 four interconnected buildings ranging from five to eight-stories. It will be implemented in phases.

Ramboll has been appointed as a construction consultant, Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects and Arkkitehtitoimisto LPV Jyväskylä Oy as architects.
Construction is divided into three main stages: blasting works; earth construction works; and the building construction stage.
Blasting works commenced in February 2016.
On May 10, 2016, the project secured building permits from the authorities. YIT Corporation has been appointed as the construction contractor for the project.
On September 24, 2016, a foundation stone laying ceremony was held.
Construction works are underway, with completion of the first and second phase slated for July 2018 and August 2019 respectivley.
