In August 2015, Frederick Municipal Airport and residents raised concerns over the proposed project.

In September 2015, Matan requested City of Frederick (CoF) to rezone the light industrial use site in to a mixed-use.

On October 2, 2015, Matan received rezoning approval for the proposed project.

In March 2017, Frederick Planning Commission approved plans for 551 homes.

Planning activities are underway.
