Malarenergi AB (Malarenergi) is planning to build a wood fired power plant in Vasteras, Vastmanland, Sweden.
The project involves the construction of a 152MW wood fired power plant. It includes the construction of Block 7, a powerhouse, a substation, raw water storage tanks and coal storage unit, the installation of supercritical circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boilers, steam turbines and generators, and the laying of water transmission pipelines.
In July 2017, Sumitomo SHI FW was awarded a contract to design, supply and assemble a CFB steam generator for the project.
Construction is expected to completed by 2020.
