Algerian Ministry of Public works (MTP) is planning to undertake the Blida-M’Sila Expressway Project between the cities of Blida and M’Sila, Algeria.
The project involves the construction of a 260km expressway, interconnections, overpasses and underpasses, bridges, dividers, exchanges and service roads, and the installation of signaling systems.
In October 2009, MTP awarded the preliminary study contract to the Don Il-Dong Myeong-KECC consortium of South Korean companies, but this was later cancelled.
In August 2017, MTP relaunched the preliminary study tender and detailed preliminary design studies.
The deadline for completion of study activity is 24 months, divided as follows: ten months for preliminary studies, six months for preliminary design studies and eight months for detailed design studies.
Tender activities are underway for the selection of a group to carry out the study activities.
The project involves the construction of a 260km expressway between the cities of Blida and M’Sila, Algeria.
