Millennium Santa Monica, LLC (MSM) is planning to undertake the redevelopment of Village Trailer Park in California, the US.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use facility on 1.4ha of land. It includes the construction of a five-story building with 374 residential units of which 38 homes as affordable houses, 10,033m2 of office space, 1,022m2 retail facility, 2,322m2 of commercial space and a 503-space parking facility, and the installation of safety and security systems.
Del Richardson & Associates, Inc. has been appointed as legal advisor, Michael W Folonis Architects as architect, AHBE Landscape Architects as landscape architect and Cuningham Group Architecture, Inc. as interior designer.
On March 19, 2013, VTP received planning approval from the council.
On August 18, 2014, MSM submitted updated plans to the Architectural Review Board (ARB) and ARB granted a conditional approval of some of the changes made to the proposed project. However, MSM still has to come back to ARB to make further changes of interior elevations and landscaping.
In September 2014, ARB meeting was held and concluded that some more work was required on the project.
The Dinerstein Companies has been appointed as a contractor.
In November 2016, construction works commenced and are underway.
