Ministère des Transports, Côte d’Ivoire (MoT) and Ministère des Transports, des Postes et de l'Economie Numérique, Burkina Faso (MPTIC) undertaking a highway project between the cities of Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The project involves the construction of a 500km highway between Yamoussoukro and the border of Burkina Faso, a 600km highway between Ouagadougou and the border of Côte d’Ivoire, culverts, dividers and pedestrian walkways, and the installation of lighting, overhead sign structures and related infrastructure.

In July 2014, feasibility studies are underway.
In September 2014, the project received important government funding.
In August 2016, MoT finalized the project cost US$3,404 million.
In Mar 2017, Feasibility Planings are underway to commence the construction by the end of 2017.
Planing activities are underway and MoT is in discussions with the financial institutions for the funding support.
The project involves the construction of a 1,100km highway between the cities of Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The US$3,404 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of highways
