MOEE appointed Sinohydro and Supreme group (SG) as project developers and issued a notice to proceed (NOP) on January 30, 2018. With NOP; Sinohydro and SG received permission to proceed with preliminary tasks on the project such as business plans, initial surveys, initial designs and engineering works.
Subject to the attainment of necessary approvals; construction work is expected to take 28 months to complete.
