Moda Living (ML) and Apache Capital Partners LLP (ACP) are undertaking the construction of a mixed-use tower in Birmingham, West Midlands, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a 34-story mixed-use tower on 8ha of land comprising 466 apartments. It includes the construction of 2,787m2 communal space, 2043.86m2 retail, office and leisure space, meeting rooms, cinema, resident lounges, co-working facilities, restaurants, fitness centers, a multi-use roof terrace focusing on health and well-being, a sky lounge, a roof terrace with 200m running track, parking and related facilities.

Glenn Howells Architects, Fuse Studios and HAUS Collective were appointed as architects, Planit-IE as landscape architect, Deloitte Real Estate as planner, Buro Happold as structural engineer and Carillion as construction contractor.

ML will develop the scheme while ACP will provide funds for the project.

In March 2015, project secured planning approvals from the Manchester City Council.

In January 2017, ML and ACP have agreed an US$104 million development loan with Deutsche Pfandbriefbank to fund construction of the project. The facility has a four-year term to finance construction and will automatically convert into an investment loan for the remainder of the term.

Construction works are underway and scheduled to be completed in two phases between 2019 and 2020.

The project involves the construction of a 34-story mixed-use tower on 8ha of land comprising 466 apartments in Birmingham, West Midlands, the UK.

The US$188 million project includes the following:

3. Construction of meeting rooms

6. Construction of a roof terrace with 200m running track
