The Ministry of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning, Republic of Slovenia (MISP) is planning to undertake a highway from Velenje to Slovenj Gradec in Slovenia.
The project involves the construction of a 17.5km four-lane road between Velenje and Slovenj Gradec.
It will include the construction of bridges, footpaths, pedestrian walkways, toll plazas, side walls, service roads, viaducts, tunnels and related infrastructure and the installation of signaling and safety systems.
In September 2013, the government has adopted the National Spatial Plan for the development of four-lane road between Velenje and Slovenj Gradec. National Spatial Plan is the basis for developing the project for the building permit and the legal basis for the purchase of land or easement acquisition.
As of May 2017, Dars is planning to repurchase land plots and preparing project documentation. MISP is expected to receive building permits in 2018.
