The Mission Housing Development Corporation (MHDC), through a partnership with Sonoma County Community (SCC), is undertaking the Roseland Village Shopping Center Redevelopment project in California, the US.
The project involves the redevelopment of Roseland Village Shopping Center into mixed-use facilities including 175 residential units, a plaza, and office and retail space on a 4,645m2 area.
The project will include the construction of 120 residential parking spaces and 100 parking spaces for office and retail use.
Sonoma County acquired about half of the Roseland Village Shopping Center land in March 2011.
SCC invited bids for the demolition of existing buildings at the project site and the site preparation works for the development of the project, with the submission deadline on May 5, 2014.
In June 2014, Jakela, Inc. was appointed as a demolition contractor and the scope of the contract covers the demolition of existing buildings and preparation of the site for the developers for the development of the project.
On January 18, 2017, a community meeting was held to present the final design of the project.
The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities in Santa Rosa, California, the US.
The US$30 million project includes the following:
