Manatee Fruit Company (MFC) is planning to construct a mixed-use community in Florida, the US.

Canin Associates has been appointed design consultant, Grimes Goebel Grimes Hawkins Gladfelter & Galvano, PL as legal advisor and Luke Transportation Engineering Consultants, Inc. as traffic consultant.

On May 29th, 2014, a General Development Plan (GDP)/conceptual plan was submitted to the Manatee County’s Planning & Zoning Department. The submission was for zoning purposes to ensure our property was in accordance with Manatee County’s 2010 Comprehensive Plan for a mixed use community.

On September 16, 2014, Federation of Manatee County Community Associations (FMCCA) held a meeting with MFC to discuss the vision for the future development.

In June 2015, MFC held a public consultation for the GDP of the project. GDP and rezoning application was submitted to Manatee County Commission for approvals in July 2015.

On August 6, 2015, MFC secured general development plan approval from Manatee County Commission for the implementation of the project.
