The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) is undertaking the construction of a wind farm in Tafilah, Jordan.

Funds for the development of the project has been provided by World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Islamic Development Bank of Riyadh.
Construction activities are scheduled to complete by 2019.
