Millennium Bulk Terminals-Longview LLC (MBTL) is planning to undertake the construction of coal export facilities at the land adjacent to the existing coal operations base located near the Port of Longview in Cowlitz County, Washington, the US.
The project involves the construction of coal transport infrastructure across 168.34ha site planned to be developed in two phases. First phase of the development is expected to export 25 million tonnes (MT) of coal in 10 train trips, while second phase completes with a targeted capacity to export 44MT in 16 train trips.

MBTL has an application for authorization from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, a 401 water quality certification from the Washington State Department of Ecology, and for a Shoreline Substantial Development permit in February 2012.
