The project involves the construction of storage facilities, a frozen products storage facility, freight traffic facility, access roads, and the redevelopment of parking facilities and sewage treatment plant.
For the development of the project, Landgeflügel requires 8.2ha of land.
The original plan could not be implemented earlier due to the problem of deforestation on the site. Therefore, the project plan was modified and as a compensation, the company will undertake substitute plantings for the intervention in the pine forest.
The Haren Construction Committee took note of the suggestions received from the public-sector bodies. Public consultation on the project plan is underway.
