Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd, India through its subsidiary, Lanka Sugar Refinery Company Pvt Ltd (LSRCPL), is planning to undertake the construction of a sugar refinery facility in Southern Province, Sri Lanka.
The project involves the construction of a sugar refinery facility with a capacity of 2,000 metric tonnes per day (MTPD). Initially, the facility will refine 2,000MTPD of sugar, which will be later increased to 3,000MTPD.
The project includes the construction of a sugar cane mill, a processing unit, a packing unit, a distribution unit, storage tanks, a chemical storage unit and related facilities, and the installation of heating vessels, settling tanks, boiling vessels.
