Liberty Property Trust (LPT) is planning to build a research center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the US.

The project received a US$400,000 grant from Pennsylvania and a US$750,000 low-interest loan made by Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp (PIDC).
In September 2015, LPT signed a 20-year lease agreement with Axalta Coating Systems Inc. (Axta).
The project receiving a US$2.25 million loan from PIDC to finance a portion of Axta’s fit out and equipment costs.
Construction is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2018 and the facility will be fully operational by 2019.
