Lepakshi Knowledge Hub (LKH) is planning to undertaken the Anantapur Integrated Textile Park project in Andhra Pradesh, India.
The project involves the construction of an integrated textile park on 53ha of land. It includes the construction of common infrastructure, design studios, ready-to-use garment manufacturing units, garment training institute and a trade hub.
It also includes the construction of waste water system, energy and water conservation system, the installation of spinning machines, cooling systems, security system, safety system and other related facilities.
The project also includes other components such as a biotech SEZ, an aerospace and precise engineering SEZ, a free-trade warehousing zone and an Ayush Park.
Ernst & Young has been appointed to provide the business feasibility and preparation of Investor Memorandum and AECOM to provide the conceptual master plan.
The project is being implemented under Public Private Partnership model. LKH has received all the preliminary approvals from the Union Government for the project implementation.
In March 2017, LKH received formal approval in the Board of Approval after coming into force of SEZ Rules.
