Lee Development Group (LDG) and Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) are planning to construct a mixed-use facility in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on a 71,628m2 area and will be developed in four phases.

The project includes the construction of 701 residential units, retail space, walking trials, installation of elevators, safety and security systems, parking and related facilities.

The project also includes 11,148m2 public aquatic and recreation center will feature a 25-meter long, 8-lane lap pool (half the size of an Olympic swimming pool), community center, a multi-purpose therapy pool, a spa, fitness center, basketball court and locker rooms, renovation of existing 16-story Alexander House, demolish the existing 10-story Elizabeth House, 160 seniors affordable units.

The first phase involves the construction of Two high rise towers one 15-story tower comprising 267 apartment units on the former Fenwick Professional Park site, second one 19-story tower with 274 apartments.

Kishimoto Gordon Dalaya PC has been appointed as architect, James G. Davis Construction Corporation as contractor and Rodgers Consulting Inc as civil engineering consultant.

On March 5, 2014, the Commission approved the execution of the Pre-Development Agreement with LDG.

On April 24, 2014, the Commission approved the execution of the First Amendment to Pre-Development Agreement.

On May 31, 2014, LDG signed a lease agreement of the site.

On July 23, 2015, Project secured Planning Board preliminary approval from The Montgomery County Planning Board.

In July 2016, project plans were revised.

In October 2016, LDG recommended approval for Elizabeth House III site plan.

Construction on aquatic and fitness centers is expected to be complete in 2019, community center in 2021.
