Itt includes the demolition of Holiday Inn, the construction of a hotel comprising 240 rooms in 10 floors from 27th floor to 36th floor, 400 residential units from floor 37 to floor 76, 22,903m2 office space on floors 16 through 23, 5,828m2 commercial space, a lobby, a 516-space parking garage and related facilities and the installation of safety systems and elevators.
Arquitectonica has been appointed as architect.
In December 2014, ITC Center and BH Downtown submitted the project plans to City of Miami (CoM).
The project received approval from Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with respect to its proposed height and Urban Design Review Board.
On November 21, 2015, ITC Center and BH Downtown bought the project site comprising 200-room hotel called "Holiday Inn' for US$65 million.
In July 2016, Kawa acquired the project site for US$42.5 million.
Planning activities are underway.
