Koperasi Unit Desa Dharma Tani Marisa (KUD) in a joint venture with One Asia Resources Limited (OAR) and Provident Capital Partners Pte Ltd (Provident) is planning to construct the Gunung Pani Gold Processing Plant project in Sulawesi, Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The project involves the construction of a gold processing plant on 7,000ha of land with a capacity of 100,000 ounces of precious metals.
It includes the construction of a processing unit and purifying the minerals within the Mining Business Permit of 100ha, a warehouse, a smelter unit and a crushing unit.
It also includes the exploration of gold deposits and the construction of related facilities.
On December 24, 2013, PT Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining (GSM), a subsidiary of J Resources Asia Pacific signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KUD to integrate the Contract of Work (CoW) with the Mining Business Permit of 100ha.
In July 2016, The MoU between KUD and GSM conflicts with the contractual agreement that KUD has already signed with OAR.
On December 20, 2016, KUD signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Provident for resolving the current Pani IUP dispute.
