Kerala State Construction Corporation (KSCC) is planning to construct the Chakkaraparambu to Seaport-Airport Road in Kerala, India.
The project involves the construction of a 4km road segment through Vennala and Palachuvadu to Seaport-Airport Road. It includes the construction of a 30m wide 1.5km long road from Chakkaraparambu up to Vennala-Eroor Road and a 45m wide 2.5km long road from Vennala-Eroor Road to Seaport-Airport Road.
The project includes the construction of motorways and related facilities and the installation of traffic signals and information boards.
On March 16, 2013, Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala (RBDCK) requested for a sanction to conduct detailed study, survey and preparation of a detailed project report for the segment.
A detailed project report (DPR) and alignment was prepared by RBDCK.
On April 13, 2013, the Government of Kerala issued approval to RBDCK for the development of the project.
On September 10, 2014, RBDCK was replaced by KSCC as the new owner of the project.
KITCO has been appointed as lead consultant.
In June 2016, KITCO submitted the DPR.
