Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is planning to undertake the development of a port in Kisumu County, Kenya.

The project will be implemented on a build-operate-transfer basis.
As of December 2015, a feasibility study is underway.
In August 2016, the Government of Kenya allocated funds for the project.
China Road and Bridge Company (CRBC) will work as the design-build contractor. China Exim Bank will finance its construction.
