KCBX Terminals Company (KCBX), a a subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., is planning to undertake the construction of South Burley Avenue Petcoke Storage Facility project in Illinois, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 305m long, 30.5m high and 61m wide facility with a storage capacity of 500,000 Tons Per Annum (TPA) on 33ha of land.
The project includes the construction of storage units, a transfer building with a holding capacity of 125,000 tonnes of bulk materials, a water recycling system, loading and unloading facilities, the installation of 1.7km of conveyors, machinery, safety and security systems.
Graycor Construction has been appointed as construction contractor.
KCBX submitted plans to Chicago City Council (CCC).
KCBX is seeking for the planning approvals from CCC.
