The project involves the construction of GO station at Cooksville. It includes the construction of a new station building with a large public plaza, upgrades of the existing rail platform access tunnel, new six-storey parking structure with 1,735 parking space and the redevelopment of existing parking area, bus loop, eight bus bays and the installation of overhead lighting, security and safety systems.
On September 14, 2016, IO issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the design, build and finance contract.
