Instituto Nacional de Electrificación (INDE) is planning to develop the Xalalá Hydroelectric Plant project in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.
The project consists of the construction of 180MW capacity hydroelectric power plant, power houses, substations, switchyards, machine rooms and related facilities, the installation of turbines, generators and other equipment, and the laying of transmission lines.
