The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) incorporation with Romeoville, Bolingbrook and Plainfield Counties is planning to upgrade the Airport Road and IL 126/Essington road in Illinois, the US.

In October 2016, The third public meeting held to choose alternatives considered and to stakeholder input.
A final public hearing is scheduled for the third quarter of 2017 and will finalize the preferred alternative for the project.
