Iberdrola Renewables, LLC, a subsidiary of Iberdrola, S.A. (IBE) is planning to construct the Onshore Wind Farm project in Ohio, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 150MW wind farm with installation of 75 wind turbines. It includes the construction of a substation, a powerhouse, and the installation of an electric feeder system, nacelles and wind electric convertors and the laying of transmission lines.
In 2010, project filed for interconnection with the MISO regional transmission operator for Putnam County and on September 17, 2012, IBE has submitted permit applications to the Putnam County for the project.
Leipsic Wind LLC has been appointed as the associated developer for the project.
In July 2014, the project was placed on hold due to change in rules on renewable energy.
