Harhay Developments (Harhay) and Carttera Private Equities (CPE) are planning to build a residential tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a 29-story residential tower comprising 305 condominium units. It includes the construction of a seven-story podium, an 11-story podium, 604m2 of outdoor amenity space, 650m2 of indoor amenity space, a swimming pool, 1394m2 of retail space, parking and related facilities.
Construction works will be undertaken by the in-house division of Harhay Developments.
Architects Alliance has been appointed as architect, Aird & Berlis LLP as legal advisor and II By IV Design Associates as an interior designer, Juhan Marten Landscape Architect as a landscape architect.
On April 24, 2015, Harhay and CPE submitted a planning application to Toronto City Council.
On October 27, 2015, the public consultation meeting was held in which local residents showed various concerns regarding the height and separation between 55 The Esplanade and the new towers.
Harhay and CPE are in the process of obtaining necessary approvals for the project.
